India ने US समेत 24 देशों के साथ Next-Generation 6G Networks Initiative में हाथ मिलाया
नई दिल्ली, 8 सितंबर 2026: भारत ने next-generation 6G telecommunications networks को सुरक्षित, interoperable और innovative बनाने के लिए अमेरिका के नेतृत्व वाले अंतरराष्ट्रीय initiative में शामिल होने का फैसला किया है। US Department of Commerce के मुताबिक India अब United States और 24 अन्य देशों के साथ मिलकर भविष्य के 6G networks की security, standards और deployment से जुड़ी global policies को आकार देने में भूमिका निभाएगा। क्या है 6G Initiative का नाम? इस international framework का नाम “Call to Action for 6G Leadership and Security” है। इसे US National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) ने 27 जुलाई 2026 को partner governments के साथ launch किया था। India के जुड़ने के बाद initiative में शामिल governments की कुल संख्या 26 हो गई है। Security और Interoperability पर रहेगा Focus Initiative का मकसद यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि future 6G networks: Participating governments अगले 12 महीनों और उसके बाद इन क्षेत्रों में cooperation बढ़ाने पर काम करेंगे। Jitin Prasada और Howard Lutnick की Meeting के बाद Announcement India के initiative में शामिल होने की घोषणा Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada और US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick की बैठक के बाद हुई। दोनों नेताओं ने G20 Innovation Ministerial के दौरान 6G technology और international cooperation के भविष्य पर चर्चा की थी। AI, Semiconductors और Data Centres पर भी बातचीत भारत और अमेरिका के बीच बातचीत केवल 6G तक सीमित नहीं रही। दोनों देशों ने Artificial Intelligence, semiconductors और data centres में cooperation मजबूत करने पर भी चर्चा की। India ने US companies से India Semiconductor Mission 2.0 में investment की संभावनाओं पर विचार करने को भी प्रोत्साहित किया। 6G Standards तय होने से पहले India की Entry अहम 6G के final international technical standards अभी तय नहीं हुए हैं। इसी वजह से शुरुआती policy और standards discussions में India की मौजूदगी महत्वपूर्ण मानी जा रही है। यह initiative technical standards bodies की जगह नहीं लेगा, बल्कि governments के बीच security, spectrum, supply chains और policy priorities पर coordination बढ़ाने का प्रयास करेगा। Bharat 6G Mission पर भी काम कर रहा India International initiative के साथ-साथ India अपना Bharat 6G Mission भी आगे बढ़ा रहा है। इसका उद्देश्य भारत को केवल 6G technology का consumer नहीं, बल्कि intellectual property, products और affordable telecom solutions का global supplier बनाना है। Bharat 6G Alliance का लक्ष्य लगभग 2030 तक 6G technologies की deployment की दिशा में आगे बढ़ना है। अभी कोई Funding या Rollout Date तय नहीं यह स्पष्ट करना जरूरी है कि इस announcement के साथ कोई नया funding package, spectrum allocation, commercial 6G project या India-specific rollout date घोषित नहीं की गई है। फिलहाल यह एक policy coordination और strategic cooperation framework है, जिसके जरिए सदस्य देश 6G के आने से पहले common priorities तय करना चाहते हैं। India के लिए क्यों महत्वपूर्ण है 6G Partnership? 5G के बाद 6G को AI-driven communications, autonomous systems, advanced manufacturing, robotics और critical infrastructure के लिए महत्वपूर्ण technology माना जा रहा है। ऐसे में global standards तय होने के शुरुआती चरण में India की मौजूदगी Indian telecom companies, startups और researchers को future technologies के development में बड़ी भूमिका दिलाने में मदद कर सकती है। source – US Department of Commerce / Akashvani News / Moneycontrolजय राष्ट्र न्यूज़
