चित्रकूट: Uttar Pradesh के धार्मिक शहर Chitrakoot में Mandakini River के बढ़ते जलस्तर ने रविवार, 30 अगस्त 2026 को गंभीर स्थिति पैदा कर दी है। नदी का पानी बढ़ने के बाद प्रसिद्ध Ram Ghat और Nirmohi Akhada समेत कई low-lying areas में flood-like situation बन गई है। जिला प्रशासन ने इलाके को high alert पर रखा है, जबकि NDRF और SDRF की टीमें लगातार rescue operation में लगी हुई हैं। Chitrakoot Police के मुताबिक flood-affected areas की drone cameras से surveillance की जा रही है। Drones के जरिए water flow और ground situation को monitor किया जा रहा है, ताकि किसी भी नए खतरे पर तुरंत response दिया जा सके। Ram Ghat और Nirmohi Akhada में घुसा पानी Mandakini River का जलस्तर तेजी से बढ़ने के बाद Chitrakoot के सबसे संवेदनशील इलाकों में Ram Ghat और Nirmohi Akhada शामिल हैं। दोनों क्षेत्रों में पानी पहुंचने के बाद प्रशासन ने आम लोगों और श्रद्धालुओं की आवाजाही पर विशेष निगरानी बढ़ा दी है। District administration ने लोगों से नदी और घाटों के पास नहीं जाने की अपील की है। Ram Ghat Chitrakoot का प्रमुख धार्मिक स्थल है और सामान्य दिनों में यहां बड़ी संख्या में pilgrims और tourists आते हैं। इसी वजह से यहां rescue और crowd safety को लेकर अतिरिक्त precautions लिए जा रहे हैं। Drone Cameras से हो रही निगरानी Chitrakoot Police ने रविवार सुबह बताया कि flood situation को monitor करने के लिए drone cameras deploy किए गए हैं। Drone surveillance के जरिए: पर नजर रखी जा रही है। Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh के निर्देश पर यह surveillance operation चलाया जा रहा है। NDRF और SDRF की Teams Ground पर स्थिति को देखते हुए National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) और State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) की teams affected areas में तैनात हैं। Chitrakoot Police के मुताबिक rescue personnel नदी और flood-affected areas में फंसे pilgrims और local residents को निकालकर safe locations तक पहुंचा रहे हैं। Teams को लगातार alert mode में रखा गया है ताकि water level बढ़ने या किसी नए area में flooding होने पर तुरंत rescue शुरू किया जा सके। DM और SP ने किया प्रभावित इलाकों का Inspection Chitrakoot के District Magistrate और Superintendent of Police ने flood-affected areas का ground inspection किया है। दोनों अधिकारियों ने relief और rescue arrangements का जायजा लिया और अधिकारियों को vulnerable locations पर लगातार monitoring करने के निर्देश दिए। District Magistrate ने कहा कि administration सभी जरूरी precautionary measures ले रहा है और फिलहाल situation control में है, लेकिन river level और low-lying areas पर लगातार नजर रखी जा रही है। फंसे लोगों तक Food और Medicines पहुंचाईं Rescue के साथ administration relief supplies भी पहुंचा रहा है। Chitrakoot Police के मुताबिक flood से प्रभावित या फंसे हुए लोगों के लिए: पहुंचाए गए हैं। Administration का focus फिलहाल लोगों को safe places तक पहुंचाने और प्रभावित इलाकों में basic supplies बनाए रखने पर है। लगातार बारिश से बिगड़े हालात Chitrakoot और आसपास के Uttar Pradesh-Madhya Pradesh border region में लगातार बारिश के कारण Mandakini River का water level तेजी से बढ़ा है। आज प्रकाशित reports के मुताबिक नदी ने कुछ locations पर पिछले वर्षों के flood levels को भी पार किया है और मंदिरों, मठों, दुकानों तथा roads तक पानी पहुंचा है। हालांकि अलग-अलग monitoring points और Chitrakoot के UP तथा MP हिस्सों में water-level figures अलग report किए जा रहे हैं। इसलिए किसी एक gauge reading को पूरे Chitrakoot का uniform water level मानना सही नहीं होगा। 23 साल पुराना Flood Record टूटने की Reports कुछ local और national reports के मुताबिक Mandakini ने 2003 के बड़े flood का record भी पार किया है। Times of India की Madhya Pradesh-side reporting में Chitrakoot क्षेत्र में river level के 2003 record से ऊपर पहुंचने की जानकारी दी गई है। लेकिन यह figure broader MP-UP Chitrakoot region के अलग monitoring points से जुड़ा है। इसलिए UP के Ram Ghat पर exact historical record को district administration के final hydrological assessment के बाद ही definitive माना जाना चाहिए। Madhya Pradesh वाले Chitrakoot में भी Rescue Mandakini flood का असर केवल Uttar Pradesh वाले Chitrakoot तक सीमित नहीं है। नदी और heavy rainfall ने Madhya Pradesh के Satna-Chitrakoot region में भी गंभीर flooding पैदा की है। आज की reports के मुताबिक MP side पर SDRF और अन्य rescue teams ने बड़ी संख्या में लोगों को सुरक्षित निकाला है और कुछ stranded लोगों के लिए helicopter assistance का भी इस्तेमाल किया गया। यह rescue count Uttar Pradesh के Ram Ghat operation से अलग geographical operation से जुड़ा है, इसलिए दोनों के आंकड़ों को सीधे जोड़ना सही नहीं होगा। CM Mohan Yadav ने MP Side का लिया जायजा Madhya Pradesh के मुख्यमंत्री Mohan Yadav रविवार सुबह Chitrakoot पहुंचे और MP side के flood-affected areas का जायजा लिया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को relief और rescue operations में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए। इससे साफ है कि Mandakini flood इस समय Uttar Pradesh और Madhya Pradesh दोनों sides पर बड़े disaster-response operation में बदल चुका है। Pilgrims के लिए विशेष सावधानी Chitrakoot एक प्रमुख pilgrimage destination होने के कारण administration की सबसे बड़ी चिंता local residents के साथ बाहर से आए श्रद्धालुओं की safety भी है। NDRF-SDRF teams stranded pilgrims को affected locations से निकाल रही हैं। Administration ने लोगों से appeal की है कि: क्योंकि river level और weather conditions में तेजी से बदलाव हो सकता है। अभी Situation Control में, लेकिन High Alert जारी Chitrakoot District Magistrate के मुताबिक स्थिति फिलहाल control में है, लेकिन threat पूरी तरह खत्म नहीं हुआ है। NDRF, SDRF, police और district administration teams field में मौजूद हैं और river level लगातार monitor किया
