नई दिल्ली, 16 अक्टूबर 2026: CJP के ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ march को देखते हुए Delhi Police ने Connaught Place और आसपास के इलाकों में सुरक्षा कड़ी कर दी है। Central Park को बंद किया गया है और बड़ी संख्या में police तथा paramilitary personnel तैनात किए गए हैं। अधिकारियों के मुताबिक पूरे New Delhi district में लगभग 25,000 security personnel deployment का हिस्सा हैं। Central Park क्यों किया गया बंद? CJP ने Connaught Place के Central Park में gathering और march का call दिया था। इसी के मद्देनजर police ने area को secure कर दिया और entry पर restrictions लगाईं, ताकि crowd control और law-and-order situation को manage किया जा सके। करीब 25,000 personnel की deployment Reuters की report के मुताबिक Delhi में करीब 25,000 police और paramilitary personnel तैनात किए गए हैं। Connaught Place, Parliament Street, Jantar Mantar और आसपास के sensitive zones में अतिरिक्त barricading और checking की गई है। Traffic पर भी असर Security arrangements की वजह से Connaught Place के आसपास traffic diversions और restrictions लागू किए गए हैं। कई roads पर checking बढ़ाई गई है और commuters को alternate routes लेने की सलाह दी गई है। Protest का मुद्दा क्या है? CJP और उससे जुड़े groups Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, voter-list revision और हाल के police action के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। Protesters ने ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ कार्यक्रम को peaceful democratic protest बताया है, जबकि police law-and-order concerns का हवाला दे रही है। Delhi High Court ने protest को रोकने से किया था इनकार एक दिन पहले Delhi High Court ने Connaught Place में proposed protest को पूरी तरह restrain करने से इनकार किया था और police को gathering regulate करने की अनुमति दी थी। इससे आज के security arrangements और भी महत्वपूर्ण हो गए हैं। source – Reuters, The New Indian Express जय राष्ट्र न्यूज़
