श्रीनगर, 22 अक्टूबर 2026: Jammu & Kashmir सरकार ने MBBS और BDS interns, including Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs), का monthly stipend ₹12,300 से बढ़ाकर ₹25,000 कर दिया है। नया stipend 1 अक्टूबर 2026 से retrospectively लागू होगा। Formal government order जारी होने के बाद All India Medical Students’ Association (AIMSA) ने ongoing strike वापस लेने की घोषणा की। कितना बढ़ा stipend? नई दर के तहत interns को हर महीने ₹12,700 ज्यादा मिलेंगे। Government Order No. 747-JK(HME) of 2026 Health and Medical Education Department ने जारी किया है। Strike क्यों हुई थी? J&K के करीब 1,600 medical interns लंबे समय से stipend enhancement का formal order मांग रहे थे। सरकार से assurances मिलने के बावजूद order जारी होने में देरी के बाद interns ने 20 अक्टूबर को indefinite strike दोबारा शुरू कर दी थी। Government order कब आया? Finance Department की approval 20 अक्टूबर को मिलने के बाद Health and Medical Education Department ने 21 अक्टूबर को formal order जारी किया। Revised stipend 1 अक्टूबर से effective माना जाएगा। AIMSA ने strike वापस ली Order जारी होने के बाद AIMSA ने आंदोलन समाप्त करने का फैसला किया। Intern representatives ने इसे collective efforts और लंबे समय से चली आ रही मांग की जीत बताया। किन interns को मिलेगा फायदा? यह hike J&K के Government Medical Colleges और Dental Colleges में काम कर रहे MBBS, BDS और FMG interns पर लागू होगी। इसमें Srinagar, Jammu, Baramulla, Handwara, Kupwara समेत UT के अन्य medical institutions शामिल हैं। सरकार के फैसले का असर Stipend लगभग दोगुना होने से medical interns को financial relief मिलेगा। लंबे समय से interns workload और relatively low stipend को लेकर नाराजगी जता रहे थे। Formal notification के साथ अब इस विवाद पर फिलहाल विराम लग गया है। Source – Daily Excelsior, Greater Kashmir, Times of India जय राष्ट्र न्यूज़
