नई दिल्ली: केंद्र सरकार ने Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit को Indian Air Force का अगला Chief of the Air Staff नियुक्त किया है। वे 31 अक्टूबर 2026 की दोपहर से Air Chief Marshal के rank में पदभार संभालेंगे। वर्तमान Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh उसी दिन सेवा से सेवानिवृत्त होंगे। IAF के 29वें Chief होंगे Ashutosh Dixit सरकार के आधिकारिक आदेश के मुताबिक Ashutosh Dixit Indian Air Force के 29वें Chief of the Air Staff होंगे। वर्तमान में वह Vice Chief of the Air Staff के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। 31 अक्टूबर से संभालेंगे कमान उनकी नियुक्ति 31 अक्टूबर 2026 की दोपहर से प्रभावी होगी। उसी दिन Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh अपना कार्यकाल पूरा करेंगे और सेवा से सेवानिवृत्त होंगे। 1986 में IAF में हुए थे commissioned Ashutosh Dixit को 6 दिसंबर 1986 को Indian Air Force की fighter stream में commissioned किया गया था। करीब चार दशक लंबे career में उन्होंने operational, training और strategic command से जुड़े कई अहम पद संभाले हैं। 3,500 घंटे से ज्यादा की flying Dixit एक experienced fighter pilot और experimental test pilot हैं। उन्होंने Mirage-2000, Jaguar, MiG variants, Tejas, Hawk, Kiran, An-32 और IL-78 समेत कई aircraft उड़ाए हैं और उनके पास 3,500 घंटे से ज्यादा की flying experience है। Mirage-2000 और Tejas से रहा खास जुड़ाव उनका career Mirage-2000 और indigenous Light Combat Aircraft Tejas से भी गहराई से जुड़ा रहा है। उन्होंने Mirage-2000 squadron की re-equipment process संभाली और France से नए aircraft की acceptance flights और ferrying में भी भूमिका निभाई। Operation Safed Sagar से Operation Sindoor तक अनुभव Ashutosh Dixit कई अहम military operations और exercises से जुड़े रहे हैं। इनमें Operation Safed Sagar, Operation Rakshak, Cope India और Operation Sindoor शामिल हैं। MMRCA trials में निभाई अहम भूमिका उन्होंने Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft programme के technical evaluation और field trials में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। इस दौरान छह competing fighter aircraft के radar, electronic warfare systems, weapons और overall performance का evaluation किया गया। Central Air Command भी संभाल चुके हैं Vice Chief बनने से पहले Dixit Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command रह चुके हैं। इसके अलावा वह Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee के पद पर भी काम कर चुके हैं। Tri-services integration पर किया काम Chief of Integrated Defence Staff के रूप में उन्होंने Army, Navy और Air Force के बीच jointness और integration को मजबूत करने पर काम किया। उनके tenure में कई joint doctrines और operational coordination initiatives आगे बढ़ाए गए। कई military honours से सम्मानित Ashutosh Dixit को उनकी सेवा के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण military honours मिल चुके हैं। उन्हें Vayu Sena Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal और Param Vishisht Seva Medal से सम्मानित किया जा चुका है। Drones और AI पर रहेगा फोकस The Indian Express के मुताबिक Dixit modern warfare में drones, artificial intelligence और advanced technologies के ज्यादा इस्तेमाल के समर्थक माने जाते हैं। उनकी नियुक्ति ऐसे समय हुई है जब IAF indigenous platforms, unmanned systems और network-centric warfare पर अपना focus बढ़ा रही है। IAF modernization के दौर में बड़ी जिम्मेदारी Ashutosh Dixit के सामने fighter squadron strength, indigenous aircraft induction, air defence modernisation और future warfare technologies को आगे बढ़ाने जैसी बड़ी चुनौतियां रहेंगी। उनकी appointment IAF के अगले modernisation phase के लिहाज से महत्वपूर्ण होगी। Source – PIB, The Indian Express, Hindustan Times जय राष्ट्र न्यूज़
