नागोया, 19 सितंबर 2026: 20th Asian Games आज Japan के Aichi-Nagoya में officially शुरू हो रहे हैं। Opening Ceremony Nagoya के Paloma Mizuho Stadium में होगी और Indian time के मुताबिक यह दोपहर 2:30 बजे शुरू होगी। हालांकि women’s cricket, soft tennis और teqball समेत कुछ competitions opening ceremony से पहले ही शुरू हो चुके हैं। Manu Bhaker और Pawan Sehrawat होंगे India के Flag-Bearers India की ओर से shooter Manu Bhaker और kabaddi star Pawan Sehrawat opening ceremony में flag-bearers होंगे। पहले shot put champion Tajinderpal Singh Toor को male flag-bearer बनाया गया था, लेकिन ceremonial kit समय पर नहीं पहुंचने के कारण उन्हें ceremony से हटना पड़ा। Indian Olympic Association ने उनकी जगह Pawan Sehrawat को चुना। आज Teqball में India की बड़ी उम्मीद आज India का मुख्य competitive focus Teqball पर है। Quimcy Joaquim Dsouza women’s singles semifinal में उतरीं, जबकि mixed doubles और men’s doubles में भी Indian pairs semifinal stage तक पहुंचे। Latest update के मुताबिक Quimcy women’s singles semifinal हार गईं और अब वह रविवार को bronze medal के लिए खेलेंगी। Opening Ceremony से पहले भी शुरू हो चुके Events Asian Games की official शुरुआत आज हो रही है, लेकिन sporting action पहले से जारी है। Reuters के मुताबिक men’s basketball competition 10 September से शुरू हो चुका था। India की campaign भी 17 September से Teqball events के जरिए शुरू हो गई थी। 43 Sports और 469 Medal Events Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games में कुल 43 sports और 469 medal events होंगे। करीब 17,000 athletes और officials 45 countries और regions से हिस्सा ले रहे हैं। Mixed Martial Arts, Padel, Surfing, Virtual Taekwondo और Teqball जैसे sports इस edition में नए additions हैं। Japan तीसरी बार कर रहा Asian Games Host Japan इससे पहले 1958 में Tokyo और 1994 में Hiroshima Asian Games की मेजबानी कर चुका है। 2026 edition 19 September से 4 October तक चलेगा और competitions Aichi Prefecture के अलावा Tokyo, Osaka और Japan के दूसरे venues पर भी आयोजित होंगे। India की नजर पिछले Record को बेहतर करने पर India ने Hangzhou Asian Games में अपना अब तक का सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करते हुए 107 medals, जिनमें 28 gold शामिल थे, जीते थे। इस बार भी shooting, athletics, kabaddi, cricket, wrestling, boxing और badminton जैसे sports में India को medals की उम्मीद है। source – Reuters / Olympics.com / India Today / NDTV Profit जय राष्ट्र न्यूज़
