रियाद, 20 सितंबर 2026: Saudi Arabia ने कहा है कि Yemen के Houthi rebels ने राजधानी Riyadh की ओर ballistic missile दागी, जिसे Saudi air defence forces ने intercept और destroy कर दिया। हमला 19 सितंबर की सुबह हुआ था और आज इसकी विस्तृत जानकारी सामने आई है। Saudi-led coalition के मुताबिक यह हालिया escalation में Riyadh पर पहला बड़ा missile attack था।
Riyadh में सुनी गई तेज Explosion
Residents ने Riyadh में तेज धमाके की आवाज सुनने और King Khalid International Airport के आसपास smoke देखने की जानकारी दी। Saudi authorities ने कहा कि intercepted missile के कारण कोई confirmed casualty या major damage report नहीं हुआ।
Houthis ने Riyadh पर हमले की जिम्मेदारी ली
Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree ने दावा किया कि group ने Riyadh के “sensitive sites” पर ballistic और cruise missiles के साथ drones से हमला किया।
Houthis ने यह भी दावा किया कि Saudi Aramco की Yanbu facilities को target किया गया। इन claims के सभी details की independent confirmation नहीं हुई है।
Yanbu, Taif और Farasan पर भी Attack Attempts
Saudi-led coalition का कहना है कि air defence systems ने Yanbu, Taif, Baysh और Farasan की ओर किए गए अन्य Houthi attack attempts को भी नाकाम किया।
Yanbu Saudi Arabia का महत्वपूर्ण Red Sea oil hub है, इसलिए वहां किसी major disruption का global energy supply पर असर पड़ सकता है।
Riyadh में जारी हुए Emergency Alerts
Attack के दौरान Riyadh और Al-Kharj में emergency warning alerts जारी किए गए। Residents को safe places में रहने और open areas से दूर रहने की सलाह दी गई।
Situation control में आने के बाद Saudi Civil Defence ने all-clear message जारी किया।
Airport Operations भी हुए प्रभावित
Attack के दौरान Riyadh के King Khalid International Airport की कई flights delay या cancel हुईं। Social media और verified footage में airport के आसपास black smoke दिखाई दिया।
Saudi-Houthi Conflict में नया Escalation
हाल के दिनों में Houthis ने Saudi territory पर attacks तेज किए हैं। दूसरी तरफ Saudi Arabia ने भी Yemen में Houthi positions पर military action किया है।
Red Sea और Bab el-Mandeb के आसपास Houthi territorial gains और attacks ने regional security के साथ global shipping routes को लेकर भी चिंता बढ़ाई है।
Oil Supply और Shipping Routes पर नजर
Saudi-Houthi confrontation ऐसे समय बढ़ा है जब Middle East के प्रमुख oil और shipping routes पहले ही तनाव में हैं। Analysts और governments अब Saudi oil infrastructure, Red Sea shipping और regional energy supply की security पर करीब से नजर रख रहे हैं।
