नई दिल्ली, 12 सितंबर 2026: New Delhi में आयोजित 18th BRICS Summit के पहले दिन Prime Minister Narendra Modi और BRICS देशों के कई नेताओं ने Bharat Mandapam के lawns में संयुक्त वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम में हिस्सा लिया। Leaders ने Banyan यानी बरगद के पौधे लगाए और environmental sustainability तथा साझा जिम्मेदारी का संदेश दिया।
Putin और Xi Jinping भी हुए शामिल
Tree plantation programme में PM Modi के साथ Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping और अन्य BRICS leaders भी शामिल हुए।
Modi समेत कुल 10 leaders Bharat Mandapam की backdrop में एक साथ खड़े हुए और सभी ने एक-एक sapling लगाया।
Bharat Innovates Exhibition भी देखा
वृक्षारोपण से पहले BRICS leaders ने Bharat Mandapam में आयोजित Bharat Innovates Exhibition का दौरा किया।
इसके बाद leaders ने official family photograph में हिस्सा लिया और शाम को joint tree plantation ceremony आयोजित की गई।
Sustainability का दिया संदेश
Banyan tree plantation को sustainable development और environmental cooperation के प्रतीक के रूप में देखा गया।
कार्यक्रम के जरिए BRICS देशों ने climate और ecological challenges से निपटने के लिए collective responsibility और cooperation का संदेश दिया।
New Delhi Declaration भी हुआ Adopt
Summit के पहले दिन BRICS member countries ने New Delhi Declaration को consensus से adopt किया।
Declaration में global governance, multilateral cooperation और international challenges से निपटने के लिए collective approach पर जोर दिया गया।
12–13 September को BRICS Summit
India 12 और 13 September को New Delhi के Bharat Mandapam में 18th BRICS Summit की मेजबानी कर रहा है।
Summit में Russia, China, South Africa, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia और UAE समेत BRICS member nations के leaders हिस्सा ले रहे हैं।
